Formed in PEI and based in Toronto, Alvvays is a Canadian buzz band on the rise. They’re playing la Vitrola (4602 St-Laurent) tomorrow night, Saturday, Aug. 16, at 9 p.m., for $10 in advance and $13 at the door. The opening acts are J Fernandez and Los.
