Bob Log III

There are lots of cool outdoor events scheduled today (see our listings), but because it’s pouring, the following all take place indoors:

As part of Pride Week, Lez Spread the Word hosts a 6 à 9 social for ladies at Unity. 1171 Ste-Catherine E., 6 p.m.

The filmmaker and crew will be in the house for the premiere of locally made horror-comedy flick Nuclear Neighbourhood, written and directed by Matthew J. Oliver. Dollar Cinema (6900 Décarie), 7 p.m., $5

Alt-pride week Pervers/Cité presents Blue Orphée, a presentation by film historian Tom Waugh, about ageing and raging in gay films (by Cocteau, Jarman, Broughton and Ivens). Cagibi (5490 St-Laurent), 7 p.m., free

If you’re up for a crazy rock ’n’ roll show, see Bob Log III, the motorcycle-helmeted one-man band whose right hand is said to move at inhuman speeds (because it’s actually a monkey paw). The opener is Skip Jensen. Il Motore (179 Jean-Talon W.), 9 p.m., $15

Get a taste of the trill life at Salon Officiel’s A$AP Wednesdays, with DJs Nicolas & Montrilla. 351 Roy E., 10 p.m., free
