Day two of the mammoth Osheaga festival is filled with promise: the bill includes Jack White, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Danny Brown, Joey Bada$$, Phantogram, Kaytranada, the Belle Game and Beat Market. Meanwhile, at Mile End’s Marché des Possibles, Summerlove has DJs Tizi, JNNBNNRCK, B’Ugo, Montag and Rapid Fire spinning all afternoon, with DJs Cadence Weapon and Adam Wilcox taking over in the evening with Tracks in Field, a summer disco party. Scotiabank wraps up its Summer Cinema @ The Old Port of Montreal screening series with a screening of the 1975 classic Jaws. Old Port, 8:25 p.m., free

Whether you’re looking for an Osheaga afterparty or just a good time, there are two very different club options tonight: get dirty (or dirtier, if you’re coming from the site) with a rising Queb hip hop star, DJ/producer Tommy Kruise, at le Belmont, or go long with kinda legendary French techno DJ/producer Laurent Garnier at Stereo.
