The Search for Weng Weng

The first of several pride weeks, Divers/Cité, began with an outdoor film screening yesterday, and picks up a little steam today with a 5à7 featuring DJ Luc Raymond on the terrasse (with a bar and kitchen) at the edge of Marché Bonsecours. 390 St-Paul E., 5à7, free entry/donations welcome

The Fantasia Film Festival has two very different treats in store this evening: a new (but ’80s-set) haunted house flick and a Searching for Sugarman-style documentary about a Filipino B-movie star. check out our critics’ reviews here. 1455 de Maisonneuve W., 5:15 and 7:30 p.m., $10/screening

Get your beats, beer and BBQ at the monthly outdoor jam known as Sud West, with selectors Poirier and Ghostbeard. (This is the second-to-last edition of the season, FYI.) Get a feel for the event with this playlist. Terrasse St-Ambroise (5080 St-Ambroise, canal-side), 7–11 p.m., free

Also sous la belle étoile, but on a totally different tip, there’s Shakespeare in the Park in NDG’s Girouard Park. Repercussion Theatre is staging Harry the King: The Famous Victories of Henry V, an adaptation of the Bard’s plays about Henry IV and Henry V. Sherbrooke & Girouard, 7 p.m., free
