Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer

Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson, the writers, stars and creators of a great little sitcom called Broad City (you may have also seen them on the cover of our July newspaper), are bringing their live show to Just for Laughs tonight. Club Soda (1225 St-Laurent), 7 and 10 p.m., $39.65–$54.15

Colin Jost, the head writer at SNL, where he co-anchors Weekend Update, is performing with friends as part of Zoofest. Katacombes (1635 St-Laurent), 7:30 p.m., $20

If you’re a fan of ’90s gangster classics like The Killer and The Professional, you’ll want to check out Fantasia’s screening of a new, bilingual Korean action flick (partly set in the U.S.) called No Tears for the Dead, another tale of a hitman with a conscience. (Check out two more recommended Fantasia films screening this afternoon and early evening — it’s a great day to escape into A/C.) Concordia Hall Theatre (1455 de Maisonneuve W.), 9:30 p.m., $10

Melting Pot has DJ Thomas Von Party and Dreems entertaining the masses down in the Quartier des Spectacles. Place des Arts Esplanade (outside 175 Ste-Catherine W.), 11 p.m., free
