Off the Record #6 gathers Montreal-based artists Adida Fallen Angel, Chris Dyer, Jonathan Himsworth and M.C Baldassari for a panel talk about the art scene here vs. that of their various native lands. Fresh Paint Gallery (221 Ste-Catherine E.), 6 p.m., $2 suggested donation

French-born Nigerian singer Féfé somehow manages to blend hip hop, rock, reggae, soul and blues into one classic but contemporary package. He’s playing Cabaret du Mile End tonight as part of the Nuits d’Afrique festival. 5240 Parc, 9 p.m., $25

Fantasia and Just for Laughs join forces to present a screening of recently recovered 1959 silent-comedy TV series César starring Québécois comedian Olivier Guimond.
