The Double

The Double, starring Jesse Eisenberg and Mia Wasikowska, is a fascinating Dostoyevsky adaptation directed by Richard Ayoade (Submarine, The IT Crowd), and it’s playing exclusively at Cinéma du Parc this weekend. 3575 Parc, 2, 6 and 7:45 p.m., $11.50

Bring your swim-wear to Piscine Schubert to see minimalist composer Kyle Bobby Dunn, presented by the Suoni per il Popolo festival. 3950 St-Laurent, 5:30 p.m., $15

Also at the Suoni fest is a screening that fans of Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining won’t want to miss: The Shining Forwards and Backwards, Simultaneously Superimposed, preceded by “The Secrets of the Shining” — see the details here. La Vitrola (4602 St-Laurent), 7 p.m., $5

Ex-Malajube singer Julien Mineau has a new project called Fontarabie, and tonight the band is playing with an orchestra at Place des Arts’s Théâtre Maisonneuve, as part of les FrancoFolies. 175 Ste-Catherine W., 8 p.m., $30

The MURAL festival wraps with a banger at Apt. 200, starring DJs Paul Wall, RYAN Playground, Simahlak and Grandbuda. 3634 St-Laurent #200, 10 p.m., $15
