Miscellaneum Studios launch the first issue of their Montreal-set post-zombie apocalypse comic Z’Isle at La Commune. 440 Place Jacques Quartier, 9 p.m., free

Just in time for Friday the 13th (there’s a full moon too), the Cinema Urbain outdoor film series begins tonight with the SPASM horror festival. Place de la Paix (next to the SAT, 1201 St-Laurent), 7 p.m. cocktails at Labo Culinaire, 9:15 p.m. screening, free

There are loads of good shows happening at the FrancoFolies and Suoni per il Popolo festivals tonight, but these two Suoni shows will have us running across St-Laurent all night: Xeno & Oaklander, Pharmakon, Automelodi and Essaie Pas at la Sala Rossa and Ought with Avec le soleil sortant de sa bouche and Harsh Reality at Casa del Popolo. 4848 St-Laurent/4873 St-Laurent, 9 p.m., $12 Sala/$10 Casa
