The two-day Anarchist Bookfair (part of the month-long Festival of Anarchy) begins today, with booksellers and vendors, workshops, films, discussions, kids’ activities, art exhibits and more.  2450 Workman & 2515 Delisle, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

Shop for vintage duds, boob shirts, vinyl, books and food at the Summer’s Cool Spring Pop-up Sale, on all weekend. Espace Pop (5587 Parc), 12–8 p.m.

The fifth edition of art festival Chromatic begins today with a special edition of Piknic Électronik (not in its usual location), an after-party and, of course, loads of artworks to feast your eyes on. See the party details and a Chromatic art primer here.

Le Cinéclub: The Film Society screen the 1925 version of Ben Hur, the big-budget epic starring Ramon Novarro, with live piano, violin and percussion. Église W.P.U.C. (4695 de Maisonneuve W.), 7 p.m., $9/$13

Casa del Popolo hosts monthly dance party Body Meta with DJs Dimitri and Nico Sé. See a few words about the event and 10 music selections from the DJs to get a feel for the night, here. 4873 St-Laurent, 10 p.m., free
