Sappy Forever is a book documenting eight years of New Brunswick music festival SappyFest — proceeds from the book will help the festival deal with a deficit from last year’s festival. It would be unwise to miss Halifax’s Rich Aucoin tonight, headlining a stacked bill at the One Man Band Festival — see more about Aucoin and his spectacular live show here. Also playing tonight at la Sala Rossa are Xania and Digit Missile Command. 4848 St-Laurent, 8 p.m., $18

Check out Silver Mt. Zion documentary Come Worry With Us!, which tells the tale of locals Jessica Moss and Efrim Menuck’s struggle to balance parenthood and making music. Cinéma du Parc (3575 Parc), 9:15 p.m., $11.50

Minneapolis indie rockers Howler play Quai des Brumes with Loose Pistons. 4481 St-Denis, 9:30 p.m., $12
