Cineplex’s Sinister Cinema series presents Jeremy Gardner’s award-winning film The Battery, about two baseball players navigating post-apocalyptic New England. Forum Cinema (2313 Ste-Catherine W.), 7:30 p.m., $12.99

The Phi Centre screens 12 O’Clock Boys, an award-winning 2013 film about a notorious Baltimore dirt-bike gang (7:30 p.m.) and Very Extremely Dangerous, a documentary about Jerry McGill, a Memphis musician at the legendary Sun Records studio who led a double-life of crime (9:15 p.m.). 407 St-Pierre, $6.25/screening
