The city’s best mixologists face off at the MadeWithLove Montreal bartending competition, where guests get sloshed and vote for the best original cocktail. SAT (1201 St-Laurent), 6–10 p.m., $65/$75

The PHI Centre is hosting a rare screening of Larry Clark’s (Kids, Bully) Marfa Girl, which explores the culture clash between the art, white and Mexican communities that exist in Marfa, Texas. 407 St-Pierre, 7:30 p.m., $11.25

Head to Cagibi for a Xmas double feature including the 1988 Bill Murray classic Scrooged, and the 1987 horror flick Silent Night Deadly Night Part II. 5490 St-Laurent, 8 p.m., free but donations accepted
