The Phantom of the Opera

The PHI Centre’s holding the Quebec premiere of La fille de nulle part, a film about the bond between a retired math teacher and a homeless woman. 407 St-Pierre, 7:30 p.m., $11.25

If you’re looking for a unique cinematic experience, Cinéclub FIlm Society presents the 1925 silent classic The Phantom of the Opera, accompanied by live music. W.P. United Church (4695 de Maisonneuve W.), 7:30 p.m., $12

VIVA! Art Action performance art festival continues, with performances by Étienne Boulanger, Belinda Campbell and Tomasz Szrama (see more about the fest here). Bain St-Michel (5300 St-Dominique), 8 p.m., free

The Secret Museum of Sound and Nature presents a trio of smart pop bands, namely Montreal’s Sunfields, Winnipeg’s Dust Adam Dust and TO/MTL act the Walls Are Blonde. Cagibi (5490 St-Laurent), 9 p.m., $5

The Hyperdub showcase marks the sixth anniversary of Music Is My Sanctuary, feat. DJs Kode9, Natasha Kmeto, the Booty Based Mob and Lexis. Club Lambi (4465 St-Laurent), 10 p.m., $15

For a different dancefloor experience, the Main’s longtime kickass soul and rock ’n’ roll dance party, DJ Parklife’s Mod Club, is back at a new venue, the Wiggle Room. 3874 St-Laurent, 10:30 p.m.
