Pop-art design superstar Jean-Charles de Castelbajac (aka JCDC), who dresses the Lady Kanyoncés of the world, will be signing books at Indigo. Place Montreal Trust (1500 McGill College), 12–2 p.m.

The Fantasia Festival hosts Slipstreams & Eclectic Sheep: a shorts program akin to early Twilight Zone including explorations of grief, love and death told through the slipstream of future technological possibility. Imperial Theatre (1432 Bleury), 5 p.m., $9–$10

Ghostbeard and Poirier’s monthly Sud-West dance party lights up the southwest with dancehall, reggae and other beats that’ll go straight to your butt.
