La Dolce Vita

The Korean Film Festival continues with Architecture 101, War of the Arrows and Mother, as well as the Best of the Best Shorts from the Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival . Check out their website for screening times and locations.

Today at Piknic Électronik, catch some rays, eat, drink and dance to the tunes of DJs Axel Helios, Blake Sutherland, Guy Gerber, A-Rock, Hatchmatik and Shaydakiss. Parc Jean Drapeau, 2 p.m., $14

Catch a matinee of the Fellini classic La Dolce Vita, about a journalist searching for love and happiness in Rome. Cinéma du Parc (3575 Parc), 3 p.m., $11.50

Cinéma 17 screens Steve Shill’s Beyoncé vehicle Obsessed, wherein a temp worker tries to steal Bey’s baby and ruin her marriage. Le Cagibi (5490 St-Laurent), 9 p.m., by donation

There’s plenty of great local talent on this closing night of the Jazz Fest, namely Dylan-esque singer-songwriter Leif Vollebekk, R&B chanteuse Krystale, minimal psychedelic band (and Cult MTL March cover dudes) Suuns and Ghostbeard & Poirier’s downtown edition of the monthly Sud-West dance party.
