The Grand Prix is today (hopefully the rain will knock it off), the drivers parade begins at 12:30 p.m., with the actual Formula One Grand Prix race at 2 p.m. Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on Ile Notre-Dame, track opens at 8 a.m., general admission $95.75 

The Formula Fun rooftop BBQ including gourmet BBQ by Bofinger, freshly shucked oysters by oystermaster Daniel Notkin, summer cocktails by Perrier, buckets of beer + FFUN IN THE SUN has been moved to today. With DJs Seb Diamond, Louis Truspin, Dirty Gold, Victor Bongiovanni, Groll Street, Kassimo, Shaydakiss and very special guests. Tokyo Bar (3709 St-Laurent), 2 p.m.–8 p.m., $7 with RSVP

Grindhouse Crew and the Fringe Fest screen George A. Romero’s 1985 horror classic The Day of the Dead, with live music by Risk and Bloodshot Bill, the Pouteens as well as kid-friendly zombie games and face-painting in the afternoon. Renata Morales’s Phi Centre series presents Arbutus night, feat. the local record label’s program of bands (Tonstartssbandht, Paula and SteveJR) and short films (Waterpark by Evan Prosofsky, Dogs by Spencer Gilley and Andrew Hovi). PHI Centre (407 St-Pierre), 7:30 p.m., $15

Blue Dog’s weekly Chuurch rebrands as Exhaust for their third annual Grand Prix afterparty, with DJs DR One and Blaster spinning club classics and old school, with a set by the Drunken Disciple. Blue Dog Raceway (3958 St-Laurent), 10 p.m., free
