Festival TransAmériques presents Ganesh vs. The Third Reich

It’s the first day of a three-day pop-up shop by Betina Lou and la Raffinerie, which launches with a cocktail party this afternoon. Espace Pop (5587 du Parc), 4–8 p.m., free  

Take a rare opportunity to see The Ernie Game, director Don Owen’s made-in-MTL cult classic from 1967 feat. Alexis Kanner, Jackie Burroughs and Judith Gault, with a performance by Leonard Cohen. Peut-être Vintage (6029a Parc), 8 p.m., free

Everyone is searching for a place called home; Terre Promise (Promised Land) showcases three Canadian short films depicting this quest. Cinéma Excentris (3536 St-Laurent), 8 p.m.

Festival TransAmériques presents Ganesh vs. the Third Reich, a performance by Australia’s Back to Back troupe. Usine C (1345 Lalonde), 8 p.m., $38–$43
