Vintage Pop continues, with vintage finds by some of Montreal’s most determined style hunters, alongside the local labels for sale on-site. Quartier Mode (4276 St-Laurent), 11 a.m.–5 p.m.

It’s day one of Salon J’ai Faim!, a two-day celebration of all things gastronomic, with tastings, snacks and presentations about local food producers, plus events for kids. Église Saint Enfant Jésus (5035 St-Dominique) 11 a.m.–6 p.m., $10

NDG gets its taste of the party-boutique with Spring Vintage Market Happening, a multi-vendor vintage happening with beer, BBQ and a rooftop patio (weather permitting). 2000 Northcliffe #219, 12–6 p.m.

There’s a triple book launch happening, to toast new releases by Billy Mavreas, Carlos Santos and FREDC. Le Cheval Blanc (809 Ontario E.), 3–8 p.m., free

MASSIVart presents the multi-disciplinary Chromatic art fest at the Darling Foundry, launching with a party featuring live music by AroarA, Capitaine Soldat, Memoryhouse and more. 8 p.m., Darling Foundry (745 Ottawa), $15 presale, $20 at the door

Some like it heavy, and if you’re one of them, take the advice of Johnson Cummins and see Coliseum, California and Go Deep. Drones Club (look it up), 9 p.m., $10
