Nomadic Massive, at Club Soda tonight

Step up your summer style at la Braderie de Mode Québécoise, an exhibit and sale of locally made wares, including Montreal’s best indie design labels. Marché Bonsecours (350 St-Paul E.), 10 a.m.–5 p.m., free

Down at Club Soda, it’s local qui-lingual hip hop quintet Nomadic Massive, supported by fellow locals Dead Obies. 1225 St-Laurent, 8 p.m., $20

CJLO wraps up its fundraising drive with a show feat. Trade Secrets, the This Many Boyfriends Club and Night Dolls, plus the draw for a super prize package — you’re eligible if you’ve made/make a donation in advance. Details here. Turbo Haüs (1180 St-Antoine, #408), 8 p.m., $5

Montreal band the Besnard Lakes launch their fourth album, the super-cool Until in Excess, Imperceptible UFO. If you dig the miasmic sound of early ’90s Britain (aka shoegazing) and Brian Wilson’s stranger transmissions from sunny California, this is for you. See our interview with the band in the April print issue, available at these locations. With Freelove Fenner at Cabaret du Mile End (5240 Parc), 9 p.m., $15/$20

Local Spanish/French musician Boogat flaunts fresh material from his recently released El Dorado Sunset LP, with High Klassified, with DJ Chuck and “digital scenography” by Congotron. PHI Centre (407 St-Pierre), 9 p.m., $11.25/$13.25
