The Montreal Antique Show features a selection of 20th century design items, nostalgia, folk art, pottery, collectibles and snazzy old furniture. Royal Montreal Regiment (4625 Saint Catherine W.), 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.,$6

The ongoing It Matters How You Get There series offers a round-table about socially engaged art, featuring Jordan Arsenault and Lisa Ndejeru, moderated by Jessica MacCormack. CRCS (75 Square Sir George Etienne, #108), 1-3 p.m.

Friends of recently deceased show promoter Jonah Nepon—who moved his Ghost Town Manitoba company to Montreal in 2010 and worked closely with Pop Montreal, Blueskiesturnblack and Passovah Productions—have organized a memorial show. Play Guitar, Adam and the Amethysts, Asthma Camp, Alden Penner, the Sin and the Swoon and Wax Mannequin are playing the free afternoon show, where donations for the Montreal Neurological Institute will be collected. The Cinémathèque québécoise screens 1949’s The Third Man as part of their classic film noir series. 335 de Maisonneuve E., 7 p.m., $8/$7 students

Omnibus horror film The ABCs of Death, with segments from 26 international directors, screens at the PHI Centre. 407 St-Pierre, 8 p.m., $11.25
