The Punk Syndrome at RIDM

Eastern Bloc and HTMlles present a Speed Show, featuring interactive installations with a feminist bent. Read Rachel Levine’s preview of the show here. Café Zone Internet (680 Jean-Talon W.), 6 p.m., free. Performances at Eastern Bloc (7240 Clark), 8 p.m., $5-$10

Check in on the development of the local charity moustache scene at Stachebash, a black and white Movember night. The evening promises a burlesque performance by Lady Scarlett James, go-go dancers, a memory booth, fake ’staches for all and more. Please RSVP to pr.stachebash@gmail. com. Santos Tapas Bar (191 St-Paul W.), 8 p.m.

One of our faves so far at RIDM, The Punk Syndrome, about a band of developmentally disabled punk rockers, screens again tonight. Cinémathèque Québécoise (335 Maisonneuve E.), 9:15 p.m.

M for Montreal kicks off tonight with the first of four days of top-notch showcases. Too bad this one’s sold out. Luckily Mellowhype, Trash Talk and DJ John Lee are playing Il Motore. 179 Jean-Talon W., 9 p.m., $20
