According to 338Canada, the Liberals are now projected to win a majority in the next federal election.

A new study by the Angus Reid Institute has found that net favourability of Pierre Poilievre has reached an all-time low of -22%. Just 35% of Canadians have a positive opinion of the Conservative Party of Canada leader; his unfavourability sits at an all-time high of 57%.

Conversely, 50% of Canadians have a positive opinion of Liberal leader Mark Carney, whose net favourability sits at +15% — 37 points higher than that of Pierre Poilievre.

The study also found that Carney leads Pierre Poilievre by 25 points as the best candidate to handle Trump’s trade war.

The fact remains that Pierre Poilievre is divisive, rubs most Canadians the wrong way and a majority don’t want to see him become prime minister.

As a result, support for the Conservatives will continue to decrease as the next election approaches.
