Interactive art and music installations enhance the mall experience at CF Carrefour Laval

The beautiful “Magic of the Monarchs” and playful “Walk Walk Dance” activations are bringing a bit of fun to North Shore shoppers this fall.

Two interactive art and music installations at CF Carrefour Laval are enhancing the mall experience for North Shore shoppers this fall.

The shopping centre’s garden display has undergone a seasonal transformation, and the addition of the “Magic of the Monarchs” is instilling the area with a little extra wonder. As participants move, the installation’s butterflies gracefully follow their motion, providing a picture-perfect backdrop — and one that will evolve thematically as winter sets in, through Jan. 2, 2024.

The other interactive experience at CF Carrefour Laval this season is “Walk Walk Dance.” Guests are invited to step, jump, roll or dance on lines to trigger musical notes like a piano, creating their own unique melodies. This installation will be in place, in the common area near Simons, through Nov. 5.

CF Carrefour Laval General Manager Sebastien Perron says these experiences were installed in hopes of sparking creativity and joy.

“At CF Carrefour Laval, we strive to create memorable experiences for all of our guests and we hope these new interactive activities resonate with our visitors while sparking creativity and joy in our community.”
