All the issues Quebecers want Legault to prioritize instead of the “decline of the French language”

The cost of living, healthcare, housing affordability, climate change and education round out the top 5.

A study by Léger has examined the issues that Quebecers say are most important to them right now.

The cost of living/inflation (34%), healthcare (25%) and housing affordability (14%) round out the top three issues that Quebecers are most concerned about, followed by climate change (9%) and education (5%).

3% of Quebecers say protecting the French language is the greatest concern facing Quebec today.

The Léger/Le Journal de Montréal/Le Journal de Québec web survey was conducted from September 22 to 25, 2023, with 1,028 Quebecers, 18 years of age or older, randomly recruited from LEO’s online panel.
