2024 replace Joe Biden new candidate Democrats

Here’s why the Democrats need to replace Joe Biden with a new candidate to win in 2024

Approval, confidence and age are not on the President’s side.

In light of the (still incoming) results of the midterm elections in the United States, Léger President Jean-Marc Léger has explained why the Democrats need to drop Joe Biden and choose a new candidate if they want to win in 2024.

The first reason is the low approval rating of Joe Biden, which, according to Léger, at 40%, is lower than Donald Trump’s at the midterm, as well as that of every president since Jimmy Carter.

The second reason is that a majority of Democratic candidates did not invite him to speak in their states, which shows a lack of confidence that his presence would have helped them get elected.

Finally, “He will be 82 years old in 2024,” Léger says. “It’s time to make way for the new generation.”

Léger also remarked on how good a night it was for Ron DeSantis (and not Donald Trump), in addition to the Republicans making fewer gains than expected.
