Le Burger Week 2022 plant-based Montreal

80+ Montreal restaurants to serve plant-based Burger Week creations, Sept. 1–14

The 11th annual food festival has challenged over 400 Canadian restaurants to make burgers that will please vegans and carnivores alike.

Over 400 restaurants across Canada are participating in the 11th annual edition of le Burger Week, 80 of which are based in Montreal. The two-week food festival, which runs from Sept. 1 to 14, is going plant-based for 2022, challenging chefs to create delicious burgers that will satisfy vegans and carnivores alike.

Once again le Burger Week has partnered with the Door Dash delivery service, though dining in is also encouraged by organizers, who kept their festivals (also including la Poutine Week and le Pizza Week) going throughout pandemic closures to help give restaurants a much needed boost.

Participants are encouraged to vote for their favourite burgers on offer this year so that a winning restaurant can be crowned — burger king, or queen.

This year, le Burger Week’s ambassador is Montreal chef, entrepreneur and TV host Kim Lallouz (Miss Pret à Manger, Bird Bar/Henden, Monsieur Resto + Bar, etc).
