Pierre Poilievre still huge favourite over Jean Charest to become next CPC leader

Poilievre has 48% support among Conservative Party of Canada voters, while Charest has just 14%.

A new Léger poll has found that Ottawa MP Pierre Poilievre is the current favourite over Jean Charest to become the next Conservative Party of Canada leader, with 48% support among CPC voters, 4 points higher than last month. Charest currently sits in second place at 14%.

As Léger clarifies in the results below, the survey was conducted prior to Patrick Brown’s disqualification from the Conservative Party leadership contest. Therefore Leslyn Lewis technically sits in third place, with 3% support.
