Montreal Alliance defeat Fraser Valley Bandits, break 8-game losing streak

The Bandits are currently the third best team in the league.

The Montreal Alliance won tonight’s home game against the Fraser Valley Bandits 72–89, ending their 8-game losing streak. The last time the Alliance played the Bandits, who are currently the third best team in the CEBL, was on June 24, when they lost 81–97.

The Alliance were only up 1 point at the half, but had strong third and fourth quarters, scoring 48 points, compared to the Bandits who scored 32.

The Player of the Game was Isiah Osborne of the Montreal Alliance, who had 22 points tonight.

The Alliance now have 4 wins and 10 losses this season, and play their next game at the Sleeman Centre on July 13 against the Guelph Nighthawks.
