The Plateau introduces alternative uses for vacant seating.

The Mont-Royal Avenue Development Corporation has confirmed that 500 seats will be added to the pedestrian-only avenue this summer, in the form of recycled and repurposed church pews and ski lift chairs.

Architect Jean Beaudoin from Integral Jean Beaudoin, a studio specializing in the urban design of permanent and ephemeral spaces, made the announcement this morning, saying, “Looking forward to sitting with you on the main street of the Plateau!”
