New Quebec election poll projects François Legault & CAQ victory with 44% support

The CAQ continue to benefit from a divided opposition.

A new poll by Léger has projected that François Legault and the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ) will win the next Quebec election with 44% support. According to the poll, the CAQ is up 7 points from their popular vote percentage in the 2018 election.

The Quebec Liberal Party (QLP) is currently polling in second place with 17% support, Québec Solidaire (QS) is in third with 15%, followed by the Conservative Party of Quebec (CPQ) with 13%.

“The CAQ confirms its lead in front of a divided opposition. The QLP is 2nd in Montreal, the CPQ is 2nd in Quebec City and QS is 2nd among Francophones.”
