Jagmeet Singh & Gurkiran Kaur are now parents, baby girl is “birthday present for life”

NDP leader Jagmeet Singh shared the news today that he and his wife Gurkiran Kaur became parents of a baby girl on Jan. 3, the day after his birthday. Singh reported that mother and baby are healthy and their “hearts are filled with gratitude” following the birth on Monday. As for (almost) sharing a birthday with his daughter, he said, “Our powerful little baby girl is basically my birthday present for life lol.”
