busta rhymes new music album

Busta Rhymes has completed a new album and previewed new music

The rapper’s last record came out in Oct. 2020 following an 11-year break between albums.

It has been just over a year since Busta Rhymes dropped his last album Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God, and it seems that the New York rapper is almost ready to deliver once again. On Monday, he took to Instagram with a short but powerful message — “Happy 2022, new album done” — followed by a snippet of his forthcoming music.

Busta Rhymes has a new album coming soon.

Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God came a full 11 years after his previous LP, Back on My B.S. During the decade between albums, the rapper released a Google Music exclusive project called Year of the Dragon.

Busta Rhymes ended 2021 with a guest verse on Dr. Dre’s “ETA,” which also featured Snoop Dogg and Anderson .Paak. Dre has been expected to appear on last year’s E.L.E. 2, although none of his contributions made the final album. It is possible that some of this work could appear on the forthcoming project.

Last summer, Rhymes also previewed new music with North Carolina rapper DaBaby.
