83% of people in Montreal were in favour of ending the second Quebec curfew

Finally, something we can almost all agree on.

A new Léger study has found that 83% of people in Montreal were in favour of ending the second curfew in Quebec, which restricted outdoor activity between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Dec. 31, 2021 through Jan. 17, 2022.

Quebec City residents (87%) and those in the rest of Quebec (86%) were even more in favour of ending the curfew than Montrealers were.

Overall, 84% of people across the province were in favour of ending the second Quebec curfew.

A recent Léger poll also found that satisfaction with Legault’s handling of the pandemic is at an all-time low.
