“Momentum in the Montreal election is clearly on the side of Valérie Plante”

Philippe J. Fournier from 338Canada has weighed in on the polling trends in the Montreal municipal election, confirming that the momentum right now is on the side of Valérie Plante and Projet Montréal.

Polls in November 2020 and March 2021 had Denis Coderre leading by 16 and 17 points, respectively. Since then, Coderre and Plante have ended up in a statistical tie, following the latest poll by Leger, as well as a new CROP poll this month.
