City of Montreal issues boil water advisory for the Plateau Mont-Royal

Water in the area may be unsafe for as long as 48 hours.

A “preventive” boil water advisory is in effect for the Plateau Mont-Royal according to the Montreal borough. Residents in the affected area — west of La Fontaine Park and south of Mont-Royal Avenue — are asked to boil water (at a full boil) for one minute before drinking, rinsing or preparing food or baby bottles or brushing teeth.
