Top 5 Contenders

1. Cade Cunningham, Oklahoma

Height: 6’8”

Weight: 220 Lbs

Previous Rank: 1

Pos: PG

Cade Cunningham has been the top favorite for the upcoming NBA Draft. Cunningham showed dominance with the Oklahoma State, leading them to a good tournament seed. The 19-year-old has excellent passion and vision, with a great positional size to complement. Cunningham is a formidable multi-positional defender, but he had more turnovers than assists at Oklahoma.

2. Jalen Suggs, Gonzaga

Height: 6’4”

Weight: 205 Lbs

Previous Rank: 2

Pos: PG

Jalen Suggs is a great draft prospect with an incredible deal of competitiveness. He also has excellent passing skills in live-ball situations. Suggs is also an active rebounder who loves to crash boards. He has excellent shooting skills, but the 3-point shooting didn’t turn out well for Suggs at Gonzaga.

3. Evan Mobley, USC

Height: 7’0”

Weight: 215 Lbs

Previous Rank: 1

Pos: C

Evan Mobley is an incredibly talented huge prospect, with a 7-foot frame and 4-inch wingspan. Mobley is great at defending multiple positions, blocking shots, and anchoring a defense. Although he is a talented scorer, Mobley needs to add some muscle to his massive frame.

4. Jalen Green, USA

Height: 6’5”

Weight: 172 Lbs

Previous Rank: 1

Pos: SG

Jalen Green poses a great competition to other draft prospects. He’s good at playmaking and scoring. Green has no difficulty finishing above the rim with all the explosiveness possible. He also has an intimidating body  size and fantastic athleticism. Green still has a lot to improve in his passing skills, although he’s become better recently.

5. Jonathan Kuminga, Congo

Height: 6’8”

Weight: 205 Lbs

Previous Rank: 1

Pos: SF

Jonathan Kuminga has excellent positional size, and with potential as a jumbo playmaker, he’s one of the top prospects for the 2021 NBA Drafts. Kuminga is a good finisher and an excellent defense player, using his size as his advantage. But his shooting stats are really poor, with only 16 successful 3 pointers out of 65 attempts in the G-league.
