Free downtown Montreal street parking has been extended till Jan. 31

Free parking on evenings and weekends in an effort to bring more people downtown.

Mayor Valérie Plante has just announced that street parking in downtown Montreal will continue to be free on evenings and weekends until Jan. 31 (20 days past the provincial lockdown that begins on Dec. 25). The mayor took the opportunity to remind Montrealers of the decorations that have been set up on Ste-Catherine Street and in the Place des festivals, where installations will be on display till March 14.
