Majority of Canadian parents worried about children going back to school

The minority can’t wait to get them out of the damn house.

According to the latest weekly survey by Leger Marketing released today, August 18, 66 per cent of Canadian parents say they are worried about children going back to school during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Of the same respondents, 44 per cent of Canadians said their children are nervous and anxious about returning to school, while 41 per cent said their children are looking forward to it. These two questions were posed to parents of school-age children.

These results are from a web survey conducted by Leger Marketing from Aug. 14 to 16, 2020, with 1,510 Canadians and 1,001 Americans, 18 years of age or older, randomly recruited from LEO’s online panel. For the full list of results and methodology, please click here.
