Montreal Museum of Fine Arts is hosting a free public party to celebrate the new outdoor installation “Moving Dunes,” with live music from Pierre Kwenders as well as an outdoor bar offering local microbrewery beer. 1380 Sherbrooke, 5–9 p.m., free

Back for its twelfth edition, Squad Laughs is a comedy show featuring both amateur and professional comedians seeking to promote diversity and inclusivity in the local comedy scene. The low-key event is BYOB, and you’ll want to keep and eye on the event page for the release of location info. 8:30 p.m., $5/PWYC

Join in on another edition of Drone and Draw at Notre Dame des Quilles, with live ambient music to draw “or otherwise get your craft on.” 32 Beaubien E., 7–10 p.m., free entry

Interactive digital art magazine The Fine Print launches its Wealth issue with a party featuring a DJ set by NYC art world scenester Juliana Huxtable – the artist, poet, performer and DJ behind Manhattan’s weekly queer party #SHOCKVALUE – with local openers Clickbait, Javascript Princess and Bate Kush. 407 St-Pierre, 11 p.m., $22
