Privé Revaux pop-up shop opens in Old Montreal on June 1st. Details here.  162 St. Amable, 11 a.m.

The first Premiers Vendredis shindig of the summer is (probably?) happening today at the Olympic Park Esplanade, with 50 food trucks on hand to feed the masses, tunes by the Qualité de Luxe crew (Mr. Touré, Kyou and Poirier), some live music by Emile Gruff and more. Keep an eye on the event page for a potential postponement announcement due to bad weather. 4549 Pierre-de-Coubertin, 4–11 p.m., free entry

Also opening for the season is Village au-Pied-du-Courant, a party space by the sand in the East End with music, food, drink and more. In case of rain the event will happen tomorrow night. See the programming details here. 2100 Notre-Dame E., 5–11:59 p.m., free admission

If you’re in Hochelaga (or want to be), Café Atomic fêtes its lucky 13th anniversary with live music by Waveyard, la Cavale and the Castagne’s. 3606 Ontario E., 9:30 p.m., $5

Change up your standard dance party sounds and check out the 14th edition of MTL Pachangón, a reggae, cumbia, electro, roots “danza fiesta” at Groove Nation featuring a live set by Tropico Bravo and DJing by Oonga and special guest Kiko Urban. 410 Rachel E., 10 p.m., free before 11 p.m./$7

Suoni per il Popolo festival kicks off with multiple events around the city, including Klaus & Black Le Gary at Brasserie Beaubien, and Away, Thisquietarmy and Tempestas at La Vitrola. For more of tonight’s festival picks and to see what’s in store, check out this week’s edition of Hammer of the Mods.
