The summer edition of the Montreal Street Market Pop-up brings local vendors and their unique assortments of goods and services to one place, alongside live music by Klanada Ent and Thug Mansion Family for your shopping enjoyment. 3455 St-Laurent, 9 a.m., free

Russian DJ, producer and singer Nina Kraviz drops in for a gig at Piknic Électronik’s site Plaine des Jeux, and while this Saturday party is a Piknic copresentation, it’s not part of the regular Piknic season. Parc Jean-Drapeau, 4–11 p.m., $25/$30

Montreal-based group Heathers celebrate their album launch with Lungbutter and Claustra on a Mile End rooftop. 163 Van Horne, 6 p.m., $7/PWYC

The DJs at monthly queer dance party G L I T T E R B O M B (Awwful and Jeffany) play the throwback pop you forgot you loved. This edition features an onsite photo booth and performances by drag guests Rubi Strange and Amy Ba. Bar le Ritz PDB (179 Jean-Talon W.), 11 p.m., $10/PWYC

The Chromatic art festival kicks off in characteristic party mode, taking over all four floors of the Ancienne École des Beaux Arts with live music and DJs.
