Annie Hart

The springtime edition of Puces POP gets underway today at Église Saint-Denis with dozens of local artisans selling decor, jewellery, clothing, household goods, prints and artwork and lots more, plus a pop-up restaurant care of OK Poké. 5075 Rivard, 3–8 p.m., free entry, continues through Sunday

Montreal photographer and filmmaker JJ Levine (whose talents extend to the barber’s chair – he was voted #6 Best Barber in this year’s Best of MTL readers poll!) presents his MFA thesis exhibition Intimates. The show, which is on at Concordia’s VA Gallery through May 13, features photographs and a short film focused on the concept of the queer family. 1395 René-Levesque W., #102, 5–8 p.m., free

In weird-show news, Kiefer Sutherland‘s Reckless tour comes to Club Soda, and because $40+ is a tad too pricey just for the opportunity to heckle, we will compensate you for your ticket if you get a video of yourself yelling “Jack Bauer!” between songs. 1225 St-Laurent, 8 p.m., $41.75/$43.75

Get yer Twin PeaksRoadhouse vibes on at Bar le Ritz, where Au Revoir Simone’s Annie Hart will be playing solo, with support from Alex Rand (featuring members of Look Vibrant) and Aquarius. 179 Jean-Talon W., 9:30 p.m., $12/$15

Never Apart teams up with LIP for a techno/house NVA party at Artgang featuring DJ sets by Indianapolis-based producer Noncompliant aka DJ Shiva (named one of 2017’s Top 20 Breakthrough DJs by Mixmag), plus locals Heidy P and DJ Name. 6524 St-Hubert, 10 p.m., $12
