A double vernissage is on the agenda at Galerie de l’UQAM today, introducing the exhibitions Earthlings—a major, touring expo curated by Shary Boyle and Shauna Thompson that highlights the work of six contemporary Inuit artists working through ceramic sculpture and works on paper, plus UQAM graduating MFA student Leyla Majeri entitled Don’t Blame Us If We Get Playful that explores the shifting boundaries between nature and culture. 1400 Berri, J-R120, 3–6 p.m., free
