El Perro del Mar

In addition to the second and final day of the small-press/zine/art fair Expozine, there are a couple of other pop-up markets happening today: the third edition of Nostalgie Montreal at Hotel Ruby Foo (7655 Decarie, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., $3) features plenty of vintage records, tapes, toys, games, video games, VHS tapes, comics and other memorabilia. Back in Mile End, the Eugénie Bee studio hosts a sale of vintage clothing, shoes, accessories and decor with a special focus on English china from the 1920s to 1960s (5795 de Gaspé, #101, 12–5:30 p.m., free entry)

Concordia’s One-Act Play Festival ends today with a number of performances by both students and professional theatre artists, including the love-and-death story Constellations, monologues and dialogues on virginity collected in V-Cards and an exploration of the monsters within in Underbelly. D. B. Clarke Theatre, 1455 de Maisonneuve W., 2 p.m., 3:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., $5 per show

Roots, dub and reggae fans should check out Blue Dog’s new Sunday weekly Dubwise (feat. the Blackout Sound System), which debuted on Halloween weekend — see the event page for that first edition for more context. 3958 St-Laurent, 8:30 p.m., free

San Francisco shoegaze/industrial band Chasms plays la Vitrola alongside locals Besatzung and Ether Gang (feat. members of Effect Werther and Brusque Twins). 4602 St-Laurent, 9 p.m., $7

Down the street at la Sala Rossa, Sweden’s El Perro del Mar lays down some soulful electro indie pop (Kate Bush fans should really check her out, especially her latest record Kokoro) with local opener Caro Diaro. 4848 St-Laurent, 9 p.m., $15/$20
