Periodic vintage goods event Bazar Vintage Montreal returns to Rosemont’s St-Jean Berchmans church with a wide selection of clothing, accessories, furniture, home decor, kitchen items, toys and other items from dozens of vendors for one day only. 5945 Cartier, 8 a.m.–4 p.m., free

A major retrospective of works by important Montreal artist Pierre Ayot (1943–1995) is underway at five different venues across town (including the large tipped cross you might have seen at the base of Mount Royal — a reproduction of a 1976 Ayot work) and today, three affiliated vernissages are taking place in the Belgo building for the exhibitions Push and Pull (Joyce Yahouda Gallery, #516), Res Ipsa Loquitur (Galerie B-312, #403) and Face à face (Galerie Graff, #216), 372 Ste-Catherine W., 3–6 p.m., free
