A four-day festival of activities is going down now at the future site of the new UdeM campus, called le Virage MTL. Today’s outdoor programming at the intersections of Outremont, Parc Ex, Mile Ex and Rosemont includes music from DJ Pascal Fioramore, performances, food and drink plus art installations in collaboration with nearby Eastern Bloc’s Sight & Sound festival. Head to the old port’s Galerie Matthew Namour for the vernissage of a new solo exhibition called Hommage by painter Kevin Cyr, featuring images of spray-paint decorated vehicles as seen around Montreal. DJ Gayance will be providing the tunes. 217 St-Laurent, 6–9 p.m., free
