Enjoy the sunset with a BBQ picnic in the newly redone alley behind Eastern Bloc as part of DJ-Q, their summertime weekly outdoor hang in collaboration with n10.as radio. Tonight’s edition features tunes from Fez Gielen (Platinum Ranch), Stuart Mitchell (Prescribed Frequencies), Bryce Cloghesy (What Passes for Truth) and Christina Bell & Zoe Christmas (Guy Madonna). 7240 Clark, 6–11 p.m., free

In collaboration with this week’s festival of First Nations cultures, Présence Autochtone, Concordia’s FOFA Gallery offers Tillutarniit — a three-day outdoor film fest showcasing films from established and emerging Inuit directors, complete with a social gathering with special food, games and prizes. Tonight’s inaugural screening will also be preceded by a special performance from Beatrice Deer and Christopher McCarron. 1515 Ste-Catherine W., 7 p.m., screening begins at 9 p.m.

The Phi Centre offers the chance to see the classic ’90s lady outlaw flick Thelma & Louise as part of their Cinema Cabaret series, with free popcorn and bar service. 407 St-Pierre, 8 p.m., $11.75/$9.50 students

Star Trek fans take note: Comedian Troy Stark hosts a star-studded comedy show paying tribute to the sci-fi classic’s 50th anniversary, with sets by Lawrence Corber, Kris Dulgar, Dion Owen, Rodney Ramsey, Melina Maria Trimarchi and Chris Sandiford, plus DJ John Lee.
