Among the many Montreal Pride events taking place today, a couple for the ladies: Get friendly and a little competitive at the Lez Olympiads, featuring an LGBT quiz and other activities including Full House (the game, presumably) and tic-tac-toe — this series continues on Saturday and Sunday (Parc Lafontaine, 6 p.m., $5 individuals/$20 teams), or check out the cocktail at Place Emilie Gamelin hosted by the people behind the website/organization Lez Spread the Word (de Maisonneuve & Berri, 6 p.m.–12 a.m.).

In Verdun, check out a free outdoor screening (or free indoor screening, if it’s raining) of Laura Poitras’s Edward Snowden documentary Citizenfour, in English with French subtitles. 5955 Banantyne, 8:30 p.m., free

British acid house band the KLF is the focus of a special event tonight at Bar le Ritz PDB, opening with a screening of lost/incomplete 47-minute KLF road trip film The White Room, followed by DJ sets by local electronic musicians CFCF and Adam Feingold, who’ll play the hits, the rarities and the oddities by this influential and bizarre collective. 179 Jean-Talon W., screening at 9:30 p.m., PWYC

Three-day concert series Shifty Bits Circus, presented by Fredericton’s Shifty Bits Cult and Montreal’s Oh Hi Collective, begins tonight with shows at Brasserie Beaubien (73 Beaubien E., 8 p.m., $10) and Poisson Noir (secret location, midnight, $10/$5 with stamp from previous show) tonight, featuring such acts as Sheer Agony, Smokes and Phern.

Fresh from playing Ile Soniq last weekend, GrandBuda plays alongside RR Kelly and Dr. Mad at le Belmont for the second edition of Moto Made’s Supa Dupa Fly party — R&B all night. 4483 St-Laurent, 10 p.m., free before 11:30 p.m./$5
