As part of the  Art Mûr gallery’s Contemporary Native Art Biennial (theme: “Culture Shift – Une révolution culturelle”), the NFB co-presents a screening of four shorts by native Canadian filmmakers Alanis Obomsawin, Nadine St-Louis, Caroline Monnet and Michelle Van Beusekom, who will participate in a panel discussion about the role of artists in representations of natives in film. Just before the Fringe Festival begins in earnest tomorrow, the International Fringe-for-All gives the touring companies a chance to preview their shows for a live audience (as the local companies did on May 30). Petit Campus (57 Prince-Arthur E.), 8 p.m., free

Fans of arena-sized indie rock take note that England’s Florence + the Machine and Iceland’s Of Monsters and Men are playing the Bell Centre tonight. 1909 Avenue des Canadiens de Montréal, 7:30 p.m., $63–$106

It’s the last day of Festival TransAmériques, and just before the closing party (which is open to the public and features DJs M.Bootyspoon and Montag, art by Iregular and live karaoke backing band Urockaoke), dancer Pieter Ampe gives one last performance of his solo show So You Can Feel at Théâtre Prospero.

Salon Daomé club night Plaisirs Sonores celebrates its first anniversary tonight, with music by Forrest and Hicky & Kalo. 141 Mont-Royal E., free before midnight for those who RSVP via Facebook/$4 before midnight/$6
