The Black Theatre Workshop’s Discovery Series hosts a staged reading of Audrey Dwyer’s play Calpurnia, a humorous and critical narrative that follows a young playwright trying to juggle family obligations while in the process of writing a retelling of To Kill a Mockingbird from the perspective of Atticus Finch’s black maid.
